Hotel Bel 3, Palermo

The hotel offers spacious rooms that are old-fashioned yet clean. While the proximity to the lift can lead to early wake-ups from departing guests, the rooms overall offer a comfortable stay at a good value. The service is attentive and helpful, with the staff going out of their way to assist with transfers and other needs. The location, though a bit far from the city center, provides a quiet escape from the bustling streets. The dining options are average, with limited selections, but the hotel facilities are well-maintained.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt old fashioned and not like the pictures, but they did have a balcony with a view of Palermo. On the bright side, there were nice amenities like a mini bar, air con, and two inviting swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room with a king-size bed and a panoramic view over the city. However, I found it a bit disappointing that the room wasn't very clean. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable. The hotel's location was away from Palermo but offered great views and a reasonable taxi service to the city center. The dining experience was a letdown with no variety in the food options, but the facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.
